Crisis Victims and Rape Crisis Center
The Shelby County Crime Victims & Rape Crisis Center (CVRCC) provides comprehensive services and resources to victims of crime; educates the community about victimization, trauma and the incredible strength, resiliency and hope of those impacted by crime; and empowers the community with information and skills to live violence-free lives. Crime victim advocates, counselors and forensic nurses provide holistic, compassionate support to victims as they heal from trauma.
Services include: 24/7/365 forensic medical exams for victims of sexual violence; advocacy and crisis counseling for victims of all crimes; assistance with filing for an order of protection or for victims compensation; trauma counseling; specialized services for seniors, vulnerable adults and homicide survivors; support groups for gunshot victims and Latinx victims of violent crime. Prevention coordinators are available for community outreach and education sessions for groups of all sizes and ages.

Forensic medical exams: Victims can call our 24 Hour Sexual Assault Hotline for information on an acute or scheduled exam (901) 222-4350.
